Death* | 4 September 1952 | Leet's Vale, NSW; BENJAMIN F. HERPS Benjamin Franklin ("Ben") Herps, well-known farmer and orchardist, of Leet's Vale, passed away on September 4, aged 72 years. Eldest and only surviving son of the late John and Agnes Herps, of Lower Portland, he is survived by his widow and one son Roland, and a daughter Eileen (Mrs. Wilkins, of Adelaide), who have the sincere sympathy of river folk in their bereavement. Mrs. Thomas Mitchell, of Lower Portland, is a sister of the late Mr. Herps. Three sisters and two brothers predeceased him.4 |
