The death occurred in the Lower Clarence Hospital, Maclean, yesterday of Mrs. Flora Warrell, relict of Mr. William Warrell, at the age of 82 years.
Born at Southgate deceased was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Archibald McLucas, who were among the early settlers of Woodford Island.
On their marriage, Mr. and Mrs. Warrell continued to live at Woodford Island for some considerable time, going to Palmer's Island about 31 years ago where she resided until she met with an accident, fracturing her leg about 10 days ago. She was admitted to the Lower Clarence Hospital as a result.
Deceased was predeceased by her husband about 12 years ago. She is survived by three daughters, Mesdames R. S. Macleay (Yamba), L. D. Eggins (Harwood Island) and Athol Durrington (Palmer's Island), and two sons, John Alexander (Woodford Leigh) and William (Palmer's Island). The deceased is also survived by 18 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Mrs. H. E. Small is the only surviving member of the McLucas family.
The funeral will take place at 1.30 p.m. to-day from the Free Presbyterian Church Maclean, for the Maclean cemetery.5
