DEATHS.
lt is with deep regret that we announce the death of Mr. Archibald McLucas, which took place yesterday at Woodford Dale, where he resided many years. Deceased, who reached the age of 76 years and 8 months, was one of the pioneer farmers ofthe Clarence, having come from the Hunter district among the early settlers. He purchased a property at Woodford Dale in the early sixties, and on this he resided almost ever since. He leaves a widow and family of nine, including Mrs. McGilvray of the Richmond River; Mr. Roderick McLucas, teacher of Copmanhurst Public School; Mrs. Warrell, Woodford Island; Mrs. Braffian, of Sydney; Mrs. H. D. Small, of Maclean; also one son and threedaughters unmarried. One of the latter is at present prostrate with pneumonia. Mr. McLucas was well known on the Clarence, and was highly respected.14

This is the last Will and Testament of me Archibald McLucas of Woodford Island Clarence River in the Colony of New South Wales farmer I hereby revoke all former Wills made by me and declare this to be my Last Will and Testament I give devise and bequeath all my Real and Personal Estate of whatsoever nature wheresoever situated of which I may die seized possessed or entitled unto my Dear Wife Catherine McLucas absolutely And I hereby appoint Hugh Munro of Woodford Island aforesaid Farmer and John McDonald of Woodford Dale Clarence River aforesaid School Teacher The Executors of this my Will In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this twenty first day of December in the year of Our Lord One thousand Eight hundred and Eighty seven Archibald McLucas Signed by the said Testator Archibald McLucas in the presence of us both present at the same time who at his request in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto set our names as Witnesses Hugh Munro, Farmer, Woodford Island Clarence River John McDonald School Teacher Woodford Dale Clarence River
