I learned printing in primary school up until about year 5, then learned hand writing. That was in 1992.

These days primary school children aren't learning printing or hand writing.

What they are learning is like hand writing, only the letters are separated like printing.

This really bothers me as when I saw my neice's homework, I assumed it was her stupidity.

I don't know what Employer's will think when they look at handwritten resumes, just as well most things are done on computer these days I guess.

What really bothers me, is I am now teaching my three year old daughter how to write. When she goes to school she will learn a different way of writing, that to me, makes no sense at all.

If it's to make it easier to teach handwriting to children, I never had any problems learning printing, and then handwriting in primary school!
