Guerande

Guerande is walled medieval town in the Loire-Atlantique region near the Atlantic coast of France. It is famous for its fragrant sea salt, collected from local salt pans by teams of paludiers. The hand-collected fleurs de sel (salt-flowers), command the highest price.
