CONNORS—DUGGAN.
In St. Nicholas' Church, Penrith, on Saturday, April 5, Winifred Mary, daughter of Mrs. E. J. Chisholm, of Penrith, and of the late Mr. John Bernard Duggan, of Customs Department, Canberra, was married to Mr. Vincent Joseph Connors, son of Mrs. B. Connors, and of the late Mr. R. Connors, of Penrith.
Rev. Father Riley officiated.
The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her step-father, Sergt E. J. Chisholm, of Penrith, looked charming in a magnolia-satin trained gown and three-tier silk tulle veil, with trailing bouquet of frangipanni and cream roses. The coronet was of cream roses.
The matron of honour, Mrs. Moreen Kilduff, of Wallacia, wore a lime green boucle trained frock and carried a bouquet of deep red roses.
The little flower girl, Wenda Bullard, niece of the bride, wore white tulle net over taffeta and carried a basket of bitter sweet roses.
Mr. Les. Connors, of Penrith, brother of the bridegroom, was best man.
During the signing of the register Mrs. Chisholm, the bride's mother, nicely sang Gounod's "Ave Maria", Mrs. Hardy accompanying at the organ.
Mr. Walter Plunkett played the Weding [sic] March.
The reception was held in the Convent School Hall, Penrith, where about 84 guests were received by the bride's mother, wearing a smoke blue frock, with black accessories and a bouquet of antigonon, assisted by the bride groom's mother, who wore a black frock with black accessories and a shoulder spray of deep red roses.
Mr Ted Wiggins, of Emu Plains, was M.C.
The beautiful three-tier cake was made by the bride's mother, who was did the catering, which was particularly good.
The usual toasts were honoured. Music was supplied by Max Upton.
At the departure for Wingham, where the honeymoon was spent, the bride wore a nigger brown water wave frock, with dusty pink accessories.

CONNORS, Winifred Mary. - July 17, 1990 (suddenly). at hospital, late of Penrith, dearly beloved wife of Vincent, loving mother and mother-in-law of Ann and Ian, loved grandmother of Debra, Shannon and Bridget, loved sister of Jack and Eileen.
