Article* | 20 January 1938 | "The Nepean Times", Penrith, NSW; On Friday, 14th inst., Max Connors (7), of Belmore Street, Penrith, was standing near the miniature cars running on a ground in Woodriff Street, opposite Memory Park. One car came over the boundary, turned over, and knocked the little boy down. He suffered severe laceration of the left cheek and injury to a finger. He was conveyed by the Ambulance to Dr. Higgins's surgery for treatment and afterward to his home.2 |

Following Mass the cortege will proceed to Penrith Cemetery for Max's committal.5 |
