In the Name of God Amen
I Abraham Classon of Harbury in the County of Warwick Gent being of sound and disposing Mind and Memory do make this my last Will and Testament as follows that is to say I give and devise unto my son Abraham Classon and my Son in Law Mr Thomas Abbots and to their Heirs and Assigns for ever all those my three Yard Land with the Appurtenances in Harbury aforesaid part of my Farm late in the Tenure of Richard Spraggot which three Yard Lands I desire may be separated from the Residue of the said Farm by two indifferent persons one of whom to be named by the said Thomas Abbotts and the other by my Son Abraham Classon In Trust that they my said Son Abraham Classon and Thomas Abbotts their Heirs and Assigns do and shall pay apply and dispose of the Rents Issues and Profits thereof to and for the sole and separate use of my Daughter Ann Man during her Life distinct and apart from her Husband and I do hereby direct and declare that the same shall not be liable to any Debts Contracts or Engagements of her Husband but shall from time to time be paid into her own Hands only and that her Receipts shall be an effectual discharge for the same and from and after the decease of my said Daughter then In Trust that they my said Trustees or the Survivor of them or the Heirs of the Survivor of them do and shall convey and assure the said three Yard Land with the Appurtenances unto and to the use and Behoof of all and every the Children of my said Daughter and to their Heirs and Assigns for ever equally to be divided between them as Tenants in Common and not as joint Tenants and I do will that such Children as shall hereafter be born shall take equally with those already in being Item I do give and bequeath unto my said Son Abraham Classon and the said Thomas Abbotts all that my Messuage with the Appurtenances in Harbury aforesaid late in the Tenure of the said Richard Spraggot with the Backside and Home close to the same belonging and also all that yard Land with the Appurtenances being the Residue of my said Farm late in the tenure of the said Richard Spraggot to hold to them my said Son Abraham Classon and the said Thomas Abbots their Executors Administrators and Assigns for the term of one thousand years to be accounted from my decease In Trust by mortgage or Sale of the same premises to raise therein the Sum of three hundred pounds and to pay and apply the Interest thereof to and for the sole and separate use of my said Daughter during her Life distinct and apart from her Husband and I do hereby direct and declare that the same shall not be liable to any Debts Contracts or Engagements of her Husband but shall be paid into her own Hands only And after the decease of my said Daughter In Trust that my said Trustees shall retain the same in their Hands and shall pay the said three hundred pounds with the Interest which shall be made thereof equally between the Children of my said Daughter who shall attain the age of twenty one years and as they shall severally attain that age and if they shall all of them die under age then In Trust for my said Son Abraham Classon provided nevertheless that if my Son Abraham Classon to whom the said Messuage and Yard Land will descend on my decease his Heirs and Assigns shall advance and pay the said three hundred pounds then the said Term is to cease Item I give and devise unto my Son Abraham Classon his Heirs and Assigns for ever all that my Messuage Tenement or Farm House with the Homestead and other the Appurtenance in Harbury aforesaid late in the tenure of Richard Neale and now of Thomas Abbots and all those four Yard Land now also in the tenure of the said Thomas Abbots with the Appurtenances and also all that my Quarter of a Yard Land in Harbury aforesaid now in the tenure of Henry Sprawson with the Appurtenances In Trust nevertheless to permit my Son in Law the said Thomas Abbotts and his Assigns during his Life to have and enjoy the Rent Issues and profits thereof and after his decease In Trust to permit my Daughter Jane Abbotts (Wife of the said Thomas Abbotts) and her Assigns to have and enjoys the Rents and profits thereof during her life and in case my said Daughter Jane Abbotts shall survive her said Husband then In Trust that my said Son Abraham Classon or his Heirs shall do at the Costs and Charges of my said Daughter Jane Abbotts convey and assure the same premises unto and to the use of my said Daughter Jane Abbotts her Heirs and Assigns for ever But if it shall happen that my said Daughter Jane Abbotts shall depart this Life in the Life time of her said Husband leaving one or more Child or Children then In Trust that my said Son Abraham Classon and his Heirs shall stand seized of the said premises In Trust for such Child or Children their Heirs or Assigns for ever such Children if more than one to take as Tenants in Common and not as joint Tenants such Children as may hereafter be born to take equally with those already in being And if my said Daughter Jane Abbotts shall depart this Life in the Life time of her said Husband without leaving any Child then I will that my said Son Abraham Classon and his Heirs shall stand seized of the same premises to the uses hereafter mentioned that is to say as to one undivided Moiety thereof to the use of him my said Son Abraham Classon and of his heirs and Assigns for ever and as to the other Moiety thereof to the sole and separate use of my said Daughter Ann Mann and of her Heirs and Assigns for ever Item all the Residue of my Real Estate and all and every my personal Estate whatsoever I give devise and bequeath unto my son Abraham Classon his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns to and for his and their own use and benefit he thereout paying my just Debts Funeral Charges and probate of this my will Item I do hereby revoke all former wills and do publish and declare this to be my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal this fourth day of June one thousand seven hundred and sixty seven – Abraham Classon

This Will was proved at London on the first day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and sixty seven before the Right Worshipful George Hay Doctor of Laws Master Keeper or Commissary of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury lawfully constituted by the oath of Abraham Classon the sole Executor named in the said will to whom Administration of the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said Deceased was granted he having been first sworn by Commission to administer4
