Death of Mother7 July 1919 Orange, NSW;
MRS LINN.
It is with deep regret we record the death of Mrs. Caroline Sophia Linn wife of Mr. Robert Linn, of March and Sampson streets. Most of the members of the family had been suffering from influenza and about a week ago the deceased contracted the disease, which eventually carried her off at 6 o'clock on Monday morning. On Saturday night she gave birth to a baby (which only lived a few hours), and from then on her chance of recovery was hopeless, and she died as stated at the age of 41 years. The deceased, who was a daughter of the late Mr. Nolan, of Orange, leaves a sorrowing husband and six young children — Charles, Edith, Mable, Reginald, Bessie, and Joyce. Mr. E. Nolan (Wellington) and Mrs F. Haynes and Mrs. Hayden (Bondi) are brother and sisters. The remains of the mother and her child were laid to rest in the one coffin yesterday afternoon in the Church of England cemetery. The deepest sympathy will be extended to the bereaved family in the loss of a loving wife and mother.;Principal=Caroline Sophia Nolan2

He was a hard-working respectable man, who had the esteem of many friends and acquaintances. His wife, who was a Miss Nolan, died a few years back. The eldest daughter, Mrs. Smith, resides in Bathurst. Miss Mabel Linn, together with two younger children, resided with their father at the comer of Nile and Summer Streets, East Orange.
