A very popular wedding wascelebrated in St. Martin's Churchto-day (October 31) when ArthurCoppock, son of Mr. Joseph Coppock,was united to Ruby Pearl Smith,daughter of Mr. George Smith. Thechurch was very prettily decoratedand crowded with friends of the two families. The bride, who was verycharmingly gowned, was given awayby her father, her sister acted asbridesmaid, and Mr. Reynolds wasbest man. The parents are well-known in Pallamallawa where theyhave resided for several years. Afterthe ceremony, which was performedby the Rev. J. S. H. Cawte, the Anglican vicar of Moree, an adjournment was made to the Pallamallawahall where some very comprehensiveand beautiful presents were displayed.Here refreshments were served andtoasts drunk, the health of the brideand bridegroom being proposed andresponded to in very felicitous terms.The newly married couple have thebest wishes of a large circle of friendsand acquaintances for the happinessand prosperity of their future career.
