This is the last Will and Testament of me Robt Jacklin of South Somercotes in the county of Lincoln Farmer
First I give to my son John Jacklin all that House and Homestead contining half an Acre of Land it Stands on, also One close of Pasture Land containing One Acre also half an Acre of Meadow Land in South field and One Acre in the Ings all in the Parish of South Somercotes aforesaid in consideration of which he is to Pay Twenty Pounds of lawfull money Equally betwixt my two Sons Nicholas and Thomas Jacklin within twelve months after my decease
Item I give and devise to my Son George Jacklin a close of Pasture Land containing three Acres more or less lying and being in the Parish of North Somercotes Out of which he is to Pay the sum of Thirty Pounds of lawfull money Equally betwixt my above said two Sons Nicholas and Thomas Jacklin within twelve calendar months after my Decease
Item I give to my Son John’s Daughter called Elizabeth half a Dozen Silver Teaspoons
Item, I give to my son Nicholas Jacklin thirty five Pounds of Lawfull money to be Paid by my Executor hereafter mentioned twelve calendar months after my Decease and my Son John to have all my wearing Apparell
Also I give and bequeath to Samantation Bilton of South Somercotes Five Pounds of Lawfull money to be Pd. Twelve months after my Decease and a further Sum of Ten Pounds to the said Samantation Bilton to Defray the Expences [sic] of my Burial which is to be red by her Discretion, to be Pd. One month after my Decease
Item I give all the rest residue and remainder of my goods chattels Personal Estate and Effects whatsoever after payment of my Just Debts and Legacys before mentioned I give and bequeath to and for his Own use and I do hereby make and appoint him, Vis, my Son Thomas Jacklin Sole Executor of this my Last Will and Testament in Witness Whereof I have here unto Set my Hand and Seal this third Day of May In the Year of Our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and ninety Two
